Your Platform

God has given you a unique platform so that you can share your story with others. In church, the platform is the physical place where the speaker stands when they speak. It's slightly elevated so that the audience can see them.

God has given every one of us a platform- a place to speak from. And He has given each of us an audience- people God has sovereignly place in your life.

God has given some people- celebrities, performers, politicians, and some ministers - a platform that's more visible than most of us. But don't underestimate your story. Don't let the fact that you're not Tim Tebow keep you from sharing the beautiful truth of John 3:16.

God has given you your own platform and He wants you to use that place to share your story. He wants you to tell others the story of how His story has changed your story. The truth is that there are some people who will listen to you who may not listen to anyone else.

Jesus said, "God is not a secret to be kept. We're going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don't think I'm going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I'm putting you on a light stand. Now that I've put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine!" - Matthew 5:14-15 (The Message Bible)
